Project Plan
Outline of the various milestones I intend to achieve throughout the course of the research project. Outlining the sequence of activities, anticipated timeframes, and key deliverables at each milestone.
Goals
- Reach the intended target audience
- Learn the Limitations and feasibility of the animation/ intractability planned
- Finish AR pop ups for the more important regularly used pages in the book, Its unrealistic to get the whole book covered if i pull straight from a book instead of making my own in the same style so important pages people use often will be the main goal in either case
- If I will be forming my own small picture book to use for the project I need to decide if I want it to be printed physically or if I would be happy with it just being a digital document formatted like a book
- If it is the latter of the two I need to discover the best way to format the document as their may be software’s or formatting options already installed that can help make it more professional
Anticipated Milestones
Milestone 1 – Decide on a Topic
Milestone 2 – Find a specific book to work from to avoid confusion with different year copies or decide to make my own picture book Filled with pictures that act like markers to make the project more original
Milestone 3 – Photocopy or Photograph specific pages graphics’ in order to use as the marker for my AR visualisations to appear.
Milestone 4 – Create assets that match those displayed in the book but in 3D
Milestone 5 – Finish Animating Assets (if applicable)
Milestone 6 – Create the Showcasing Video to finish off assignment
Milestone 7 – Submission of Assignment
Project Timeline
October/ Early November
Find a Topic to work on and a target audience.
Mid to Late November
Learn/ Practice with the best software for the task.
December
Put together a rough few designs on important pages.
Early January
Finish the Writing up of the project and record finalising video showcasing the finished product of my efforts.
